Skip Marley is bringing old-school reggae to modern airwaves. Despite being the grandson of iconic artist Bob Marley, Skip’s fusion of genres and musical eras gives him a sound that’s entirely his own. Earlier this year, the singer partnered up with Grammy-award winner H.E.R. to remix his song “Slow Down.” The tune landed him in the Top 20 of Billboard’s Top R&B/Hip Hop Airplay chart. He’s the first Jamaican artist to do so in the last 14 years.
