Weekend Recall: Goody Grace

by flaunt

The multifaceted musician, Goody Grace, is a singer, songwriter, and producer, from the Canadian province of Manitoba. At the age of 17, Grace moved to LA to pursue his career in music influenced by pop, punk, hip-hop, and folk; nodding to a diverse mix of musical references including David Lynch, Danzig, Morrissey, and Watchmen. His immediate success landed a recording contract with Atlantic records, and collaborations with the likes of gnash, G-Eazy, and Jesse Rutherford to name a few.

“Anything is possible,” Grace explains. “I came from a super small town and moved to L.A. and was able to live my dream. It’s proof that possibilities are infinite. I hope everyone takes that from my music.”

Goody continues to embody his signature “cinematic” style with edgy vocals and a mean guitar, electrifying crowds of the internet generation. Symbolic of a modern-day punk rocker, Grace displays originality and unique style on all levels. We caught up with Goody Grace on tour to get a glimpse of a weekend in his life:
