THE RE-BIRTH OF PRADA LINEA ROSSA

by Flaunt Magazine

For Fall Winter 2018 New York fashion week, Prada celebrated the relaunch of their classic Prada Linea Rossa collection which first appeared in 1997 bringing back their distinctive red stripe logo and their incredible 90s sportswear.

To unveil the rebirth, Prada realized a visual campaign under the creative direction of Micheal Rock, directed by Arisu Kashiwagi and styled by Lotta Volkova capturing the exuberant, fluorescent energy of the 90s with a tightly wound soundtrack by composer Joe Johnson, and the bright, dynamic animations, inspired by the frenetic language of video games and animé.

20 years later and, the sensual yet sporty mood of Prada Linea Rossa provides bold shapes and indelible tones while infusing it with everything cool and fashion forward.

With a performance from Kali Unchis and the appearance of everyone from Asap Rocky to Adriana Lima to our favorite cover boy Charlie Puth, the powerhouse label’s Soho space got filled out by some of the most stylish people around, showing off their unique styles while wearing the colorful collection.

The range offers outerwear, footwear and specially-conceived pieces geared to the demands of specific activities, including skiing and snowboarding.

Starting September 2018, the Prada Linea Rossa collection will available across the world in selected Prada stores and department stores, as well as on prada.com.
