Smyth Tribeca | Newly Independent Neighborhood Hotel

by Constanza Falco Raez

Smyth Tribeca recently opened its doors as a newly independent neighborhood hotel with exciting new packages appealing to solo travelers, families, and couples. Understated and chic, Smyth’s 100 well-appointed guest rooms and suites serve as a modern home base from which to explore the city. Located in the heart of TriBeCa, on the corner of West Broadway and Chambers Street, the hotel is nestled between epicurean treasures and cultural riches, along cobblestone streets.

Featuring floor-to-ceiling windows, spacious marble bathrooms, and sweeping views of downtown Manhattan in every single room, the Smyth sits steps away from some of the city’s best dining, art galleries, boutique shopping, parks, and cultural attractions. Providing the perfect backdrop to rediscover New York in the day and night, the Smyth’s lobby functions as a giant living room and a social bar, with a collection of nooks and cozy corners for lounging solo or gathering spaces for connecting with friends, family and colleagues.

THE COMEBACK CLOSET: Smyth Tribeca has partnered with Editorialist YX to provide a personalized New York City shopping experience for guests. Let’s change the sweats we’ve been wearing for the past 2 years and get back in the fashion game. Smyth will pair guests with an Editorialist YX stylist for a consultation prior to arrival to provide a window into the guest’s personal style goals. Then, rolling racks of hand-selected clothing and accessories and a bottle of Champagne will be waiting for the guest upon arrival into their suite. An Editorialist expert stylist will be on-hand to assist with their fitting as well.

KEYS TO THE GALLERIES: Smyth Tribeca has partnered with ART SMART to offer guests a highly customized art gallery tour curated by ART SMART experts. From the latest shows in Chelsea, through the edgier works in the Lower East Side, to the revitalized TriBeCa galleries, ART SMART will deliver a truly personalized, off-the-beaten-path art experience, including a café stop at one of the art world’s insider hot spot for a la carte bites and libations. Tours can be offered for up to 5 people and last around two hours.
