Sita Abellan Presents "Lilith at Silencio"

by Tyler Mazaheri

Succeeding her debut collection Lilith, Sita Abellan presents her forthcoming ‘male’ collection this Paris Fashion Week. As a jewelry brand whose mantra resides with the struggle against patriarchy, the designs are inspired by female resistance as they search for freedom. In the spirit of equality, this “male” collection is actually uni-sex, disregarding unnecessary devices of division. Some of the designs featured include a jack necklace that serves as “a tool to transition to parallel universes” and gold lock neckpieces that come with “keys to liberate.” All handmade to the highest quality in Milan.

With the collection’s debut, the brand is holding “Lilith at Silencio” in Paris, an “inclusive exploration of musical-styles and characters” consisting of artists that “blend styles, genres and borders, and reflect the breaking-down of the traditional hegemony which has long surrounded the fashion industry.” Sita Abellan’s progressive vision intends to do just that.

Performances from Boys Noize, BAD GYAL, Pedro Cavaliere, Kesh, Francesco Bergomi and Andrea Vandall
