Prada Fall/Winter 2019

Digging into a sensation of the sensuality of science fiction, The 2019 Prada Men’s and Women’s Fall/ Winter fashion show was a performance unlike any other. The grand hall of the Deposito, part of the Fondazione Prada complex, was theatrically staged with a terrain of lights, balcony seating and a void in the center reminiscent of scientific experiments that make the models into monsters. With the romantic yet technological atmosphere, as well as the industrial couture, the show told the story of duality in each persons dynamic: we are each the poetic misfit and fragile Frankenstein.
