Set to the dramatic backdrop of the DTLA skyline and impeccably curated beats, Paradise In The Park returned to Pershing Square this past Saturday, June 11th and delivered an incredible electronic music experience to the heart of Los Angeles.
House music boss Jamie Jones was joined by Grammy Award-winning DJ/producer Dubfire, as he went b2b with head of the No. 19 record label, Art Department, rising Turkish producer and classically trained composer Carlita, leader of Detroit’s next-generation DJ Holographic, and LA local Airrica.
Paradise started as a summer residency at Ibiza’s legendary DC-10 in 2012, but has since turned into a globally renowned event series. LA powerhouse production company Future Primitive helped Jamie Jones debut the Paradise In The Park concept in 2017, selling out Macarthur Park, followed by another sold-out show in 2019 at Grand Park and more recently, Pershing Square in 2021. Future Primitive partnered with one of the west coasts' most respected underground electronic promoters, Framework, on this year's edition of Paradise In The Park
Future Primitive is known for creating immersive experiences in the heart of LA’s urban core, and Paradise In The Park certainly stands testament to that. In addition to Paradise In The Park, Future Primitive has helped bring Innervisions, Guy Gerber’s Rumors, DJ Tennis, Lee Burridge’s All Day I Dream, and many more to LA. Future Primitive will be bringing yet another electric party to Chinatown on June 24th with DJ Tennis.
