Pandora | Bringing Prom Night Through the Ages

Music provider Pandora has unveiled a staggering 28 new stations to add to its collection, with the “Prom Night” theme. As we approach prom season, the station wanted to provide listeners of all ages either a soundtrack to dance to on their special night—or a nostalgia-filled playlist for those whose proms have passed. Acting as a special time capsule for eras of music going back to 1995, Pandora’s carefully curated playlists hope to bring listeners back to where they were when first hearing a song. "No matter how long ago you went to your prom, all it takes to bring you right back to that special moment is a song," said Kevin Stapleford, Pandora’s VP of content and programming.
