Music as Medicine | Numinus Brings an Immersive Music and Meditation Experience
by Sheila Pippin
Visual by Strangeloop
This past Saturday, Numinus hosted an immersive music and meditation experience at the Lighthouse Immersive Artspace in Los Angeles. That evening, guests got to enjoy a variety of live musical performances and psychedelic meditations from Superposition (Justin Boreta and Matthew Davis), East Forest, Jon Hopkins, and Olive Kimoto. The space also featured immersive 3D visuals from Strangeloop.
In this unique collaboration, guests could explore the important roles that both music and art play in mental health treatment. Numinus, a mental health care company, looks to advance mental health treatment in new and innovative ways, specifically in the psychedelics industry. Events such as “Music as Medicine” allow community members to build connections with each other while engaging in these psychedelic explorations.
