G-Eazy Gathers Day 1 Fans for Los Angeles' The Beautiful & Damned Album Listening Party
by Flaunt Intern
It was a night of mingling, Stillhouse Whiskey shots, and brand new tunes as Oakland rapper G-Eazy debuted his upcoming album The Beautiful & Damned Wednesday night (Nov 29) in Los Angeles.
What turned out to be quite a memorable evening, his listening party was nothing short of a good time. Beginning with complimentary drinks and a photo-op, he kicked the night's festivities off with a short film accompanying his upcoming project.
The 15-minute thriller projected on the wall of a hidden art studio-turned hangout on La Brea. Fans sipped their drinks and watched as the video traced G-Eazy through a fantasy with a touch of romance along the way.
At about 8:30 pm, G touched the mini-stage, where he stood eye-level with his fans while they jammed to all 20 tracks that are set to come out in a few weeks. He rapped the words of his unreleased songs while signing autographs, taking selfie videos, and spraying water in the crowd.
His girlfriend Halsey was even in the building as well. Standing on the top deck in VIP with drink in hand, the two rapped the words to their collaboration "Him & I" to each other as he stood on the bottom level at the stage. Another rapper, 24hrs, made an appearance as well on stage as he and G-Eazy performed a track they have together on The Beautiful & Damned.
The set seems to be a solid effort. A track titled "Sober" with Charlie Puth had a mid-tempo vibe while others were of the turn-up variety.
The Beautiful & Damned releases on all streaming platforms on December 15.
