Burn Barrel Press’ new photography book, Moniker: Identity Lost and Found, combines history, photography, and subcultures all at once. With the help of various artists and photographers, the 148 pages are full of photographs of trains, graffiti, and the history of train writing, from when it was called ‘moniker writing.’ Initially presented by Massillon Museum in 2018, the first edition of the book sold out immediately.
The book will be released on June 9th, 2022, in conjunction with the Black Butte Center For Railroad Culture and its upcoming exhibit.
