Miu Miu's Croisiere 2019 + Miu Miu Club

To close out the month of June, a diverse group of models and actresses gathered at the Hotel Regina in Paris to present Miu Miu’s Croisiere 2019 collection. Designed by the award winning production designer, Sarah Greenwood, the abundance of ornate luxury furniture that made up the showspace are exactly what you would hope for considering the Hotel Regina’s golden days of Belle Époque.
The collection was a mix of delicately sheer pastel pieces paired with bold colors and patterns as Greenwood put it, “celebrate the free, camaraderie and vivacity that embodied the spirit of Miu Miu,”. Modeled by a pool of women including Chloe Sevigny to Kaia Gerber and Uma Thurman to Gwendoline Christie, walking the runway in a diverse display of generations and body shapes, the idea that the line is a “a decisively contemporary take on timeless traditions of femininity” is received as exactly that. Featuring pieces with sharp cutouts at the ribs and extravagant furry hems, all aspects of Miuccia Prada’s Croisiere 2019 collection scream adaptability and style.
After the show, guests such as Luka Sabbat, Lily Collins and Francesco Vezzoli attended for Miu Miu’s famed Miu Miu Club. An exclusive dinner followed by music to celebrate.
