Miu Miu | 'HOUSE COMES WITH A BIRD' Premiere

Miu Miu has found a brilliant way to breathe life into garments and showcase the versatility of 21st century femininity. Miu Miu’s film series, Women’s Tales, is the definition of multifaceted artistry, as it finds the sweet spot between storytelling and style. Film #23 titled, ‘HOUSE COMES WITH A BIRD’, premiered on March 23rd at NeueHouse in Los Angeles. Director Janicza Bravo expressed how narratives “cannibalize clothing” leaving little room for the soul. 

In the new release, audiences are transported to an aestheticized scene so picturesque, it will make you want to waste your day basking in the California sun. While the setup appears to be the epitome of a daydream, the narrative confronts harsh realities and disparities between race, gender, and class.  

The premiere was attended by notable guests such as Janicza Bravo, Hunter Schafer, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Kiernan Shipka, Poorna Jagnnathan, and Vanessa Hudgens.
