Martin Keehn, known for his New York menswear, was the designer for men’s lifestyle magazine Visual Tales’ virtual New York Fashion Week runway show on September 10. The show, combining film and photo, blended conceptual and minimalistic styles to both inform and inspire audiences.

Keehn, who worked for years as a tailor with the likes of Calvin Klein, David Bowie, and Madonna, is known for his pieces that blend everyday wear with design styles like pop art, minimalism, and brutalism. His NYFW collection featured pieces like pants, T-shirts, hoodies, and hats, catered toward men from 16-65 with a fashion-forward, artistic taste.

Each season, Visual Tales selects an independent designer to showcase their work. This season’s virtual platform, their first of this medium, was filmed and uploaded to their website and Instagram, putting a more accessible spin on the exclusive event.
