le PÈRE | Launching the Spring '22 Collection at Terminal 27

by Bree Castillo

Last Thursday, Terminal 27 graciously hosted an event preview of “Another Version of Myself,” the Spring 2022 debut collection from le PÈRE. During the celebration, three short films produced by Noah Dillon lit the walls of the space. Each projection was laced with the sensual masculinity of young adulthood that is inherently sewn with the naivety of devoted passions, the essence of le PÈRE.

le PÈRE was founded to be a vessel of mimetic measures wherein the artists sew their hopes and desires directly into the garments. Collaborating with a range of emerging to established artists, designers, photographers, illustrators, and musicians, le PÈRE creates a tapestry of expression throughout their designs. Their debut collection contains collaborations with Brockhampton’s Henock “HK” Sileshi, photographer Duane Michals, and graphic designer Faysal Matin.

Along with the film screening and clothing preview, the night was filled with endless dancing thanks to the bed of music provided by Hank Korsan and Pedro. Guests included Frank Ocean, Kevin Abstract, G-Eazy, Kollin Carter, Bladi, Lauv, IDK, Alexander Roth, Shannon Stokes, Katelyn Ahn, Miso Dam, Marcus Paul, Vesper Ireland, Amir Dayi, Tyler Mazaheri, and Noah Carlos.
