Lapima | Brazilian Avant-Garde Eyewear

Brazilian eyewear brand Lapima debuts their new collection of sunglasses and optical lenses, Brasil Central. The brand continues to infuse their pieces with Brazilian flair, introducing a host of uniquely-shaped and bold-colored glasses. This time around, the collection is grounded in nature; an ode to Brazil’s rich wildlife and sweeping countrysides.

For the Brasil Central collection, Gisela and Gustavo Assis (the husband and wife duo at the helm of Lapima) drew on vast Brazilian landscapes, namely those of the tropical Cerrado region of the country. This conscious design is reflected in the earthy tones and sunset hues of the sunglasses, and in the bird-like shapes of some of the shades.
