The Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) presents Artists Inspired by Music: Interscope Reimagined, for which 46 visual artists, including Cecily Brown, Rashid Johnson and Kehinde Wiley, respond to songs and albums released by Interscope Records. The artists enter into dialogue with a host of notable musicians, from Dr. Dre to Billie Eilish to Kendrick Lamar.

Artists Inspired by Music brings together an amalgamation of works which grapple with the influence of music on visual art, most of which are newly-commissioned pieces which will be presented for the first time. The artists experiment with color and form as they explore the role of musical innovation in their own practices.

Artists Inspired by Music: Interscope Reimagined will run from January 30 until February 13, 2022 at The Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
