KITH Partners with Branded Arts for Maya Angelou High School

Sneaker Mecca Kith just partnered up with Branded Arts, a platform raising awareness and contributing to under-funded school art programs. This union sees the support of Maya Angelou High School in South Central Los Angeles.
For the collaboration Kith redesign the schools logo, in which a phoenix appears as a reference to Dr Angelou’s poetic work as well as the detail of “MAYA” spelled out on the mythological birds wings. This will be visible on the schools basketball court and other locations.
With this logo comes a capsule collection of t-shirts and hoodies which features a portrait of Dr Angelou on the front and several quotes from her on the back. The pledge being that Kith will donate 1500 of these shirts to the school to each and every single student.
The items are now on sale at Kith stores and online with 100% of proceeds from the launch donated to the school.
