In 1989, a nineteen-year-old Karl Kani launched his self-titled label in Brooklyn, New York. After Karl Kani was worn by icons like 2Pac, the Notorious B.I.G. and Will Smith, the brand earned its reputation as a cult fashion tour-de-force. Now, Karl Kani returns to its New York roots with its FALL/WINTER ‘19 collection. The collection was shot in Brooklyn, accentuating the laid back yet bold look that sparked Karl Kani’s success thirty years ago.
