Additionally, the series will feature sets by renowned house and techno DJs such as Jamie Jones, Natalia Roth, Technasia, Tony Touch, Joyce Muniz, and more. The performances, which were selected by DJ, producer, label head, and event curator Jamie Jones, will begin with the debut of Opus 1, a collaborative project and performance from Jones and Katie Simko, a London-based musician. The project sees to fuse elements of both classical and electronic music to create an immersive and innovative experience for the audience, pairing the symphonic sounds of a string quartet with house and disco influenced soundscapes.

Beginning in 2016 with a performance by The Colombia National Symphonic Orchestra in Bogota, the debut performance was met with an overwhelmingly positive response, and was followed by a sold out show at the iconic Barbican venue in London. The most recent work incorporates Jones’s atmospheric, cinematic production with Chicago-native Simko’s skillful use of house and electronica.
