Isabella Lovestory | Releases Alluring Album “Amor Hardcore”
by Tamara Jiji
Hot Girl Summer may be over, but the search for the perfect party track never ends, and can be found in Honduran-born, Isabella Lovestory’s latest album, “Amor Hardcore”. Fusing Pop with Reggaeton, Isabella Lovestory’s sound is one not possessed by many. Drawing inspiration from the Reggaeton artists she grew up on, the singer represents the new age of Perreo-Pop—the subgenre spearheaded by acts such as herself, “BEA PELEA”, and “La Goony Chonga,” to name a few.
The album, sung almost entirely in Spanish, transcends language barriers with beats and rhythms bound to make anyone move. On the surface, the album presents itself as a head-bopping masterpiece, exploring themes of love, sex, rage, and everything in between. The artist likens “Amor Hardcore“ to a “luxurious hotel, where each floor is a different song”. “This album is a kiss that feels like a balloon popping at the same time a firework explodes, or a cherry bursting in your mouth. Amor Hardcore is my first full length album, where I experiment with and expand my sound with no limitations or rules," she shares.
Isabella Lovestory’s effervescent album, “Amor Hardcore” is out now.
