HubSpot + Antoine Gregory | 'Grow Better' Fashion Collection

by Jess Ferguson

Antoine Gregory, art curator and Black Fashion Fair founder, collaborated with HubSpot for the fashion collection ‘Grow Better.’ The collection includes a limited edition Homage Year Ova bag in HubSpot’s solaris orange designed by Homage founder Antoine Manning, and a custom hoodie with ‘Grow Better’ lettering and 1:1 recycled denim jacket, both designed by sustainable artist and entrepreneur Nicole Zizi.

All proceeds will benefit Black Fashion Fair's partnership with the Brooklyn Sewing Academy, a program dedicated to addressing systemic issues in the design industry through education and training, giving future design students the tools to compete in the admission processes and beyond. BFF describes it as “traditional design techniques with a contemporary approach.” Students learn in classes like sewing, pattern making, and fashion illustration, and can also attend workshops and events.

Black Fashion Fair promotes Black artists through several forums, including feature stories, a webstore with pieces from their affiliated artists, and an index of Black designers. This year, they also launched a publication, Volume 0, to tell Black stories through photos and essays. The publication partnered with eyewear retailer Warby Parker for this issue. BFF also recently launched a 2022-23 Museum World Tour held at Brooklyn Museum. The tour celebrates the organization and features interactive activities as well as musical performances from Quiana Parks, Young Wavy Fox, and MORESOUPPLEASE.

The drop is part of HubSpot’s annual INBOUND event and launches September 9 at 1 PM. HubSpot, which supports the growth of businesses, brings together professionals from across the world in industries like sales and marketing for INBOUND. This year, the event is held in a hybrid format from September 6-9. Featured speakers include former president Barack Obama, actress Viola Davis, and primatologist Jane Goodall. HubSpot and live-streaming platform NTWRK are in a continued partnership, which has previously included drops from artists King Saladeen and Cristina Martinez.
