FACE is a singer, songwriter, and rapper who’s ready to join the long list of legends that make up the music scene in Chicago. Like many of the greats that come before him, he got his start cultivating his voice while singing in the church. His biggest influences to date hail from a mix of gospel, R&B, and rap, with artists like John P Kee, Usher, and Kanye West respectively. Face’s vocal talents even landed him on stage at the Grammys twice, singing background for R. Kelly and Madonna.

Now, FACE unleashes his debut single titled “FUCBOII,” via indie label RUN THE PLAY ENTERTAINMENT. The song is mixed and engineered by Patrizio “Teezio” Pigliapoco (Chris Brown, Justin Bieber, Future), creating a modern day R&B sound that fans can’t get enough of.

Speaking exclusively on the video, he states, “‘FUCBOII’ was written at a weird space in my life, I’d gotten out of a long term relationship and was back in the dating scene again. Most of my relationships became just physical, there was a lack of depth. It was sex to fight the loneliness, everything I didn’t want. I was one of many for many women and I didn’t like being in that position.”

The visual brings the record to life, as FACE serenades one special female interest, whom he no longer wants to be her “FUCBOII.”
