Katz + Dogg Launches At MedMen

Two seemingly different worlds collide, yet in today’s world they may not seem so distant: contemporary art and cannabis. The cannabis brand from world renowned artist, Richard Prince, called “Katz + Dogg” is set to be sold at four MedMen stores in Los Angeles and available in flower, vape pens, and pre-rolled joints.
To celebrate, Prince and Darren Romanelli have collaborated on a capsule collection and furniture installation exclusively at the MedMen store in Beverly Hills under Romanelli’s label “Drx.” This collection will be made from Romanelli’s signature style: deconstructing, upcycling and repurposing vintage items, while adding dimensions of art or music before combining them with famous brands such as Coca-Cola, Guess, and Beats by Dre.
The packaging for Katz + Dogg features artwork from Prince’s signature Hippie Drawings and High Times painting series and contains specialty strains from award-winning 710 labs. In 2018 Prince debuted his Hippie Paintings to which NY Times critic, Roberta Smith stated, “Mr. Prince has never made anything quite so much fun to look at.” Now, people can have fun admiring the packaging and using the products found inside.
Katz + Dogg will be available at MedMen in Beverly Hills, Venice Beach, Downtown LA, and West Hollywood starting October 21.
