This eclectic collection reimagines the designs of various folkloric designs, ranging from mythologic garb to the classic New Look silhouette. Made by and for women, this show unveils the designs of creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri, along with the art of Ukrainian artist Olesia Trofymenko.

Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 2022-2023 unites fashion with artistry; Chiuri’s unique designs echo the works of Trofymenko, who partly inspired this collection with her various interpretations of the ‘tree of life’. Trofymenko’s woven paintings line the walls of the gallery, complementing the collection of multi-fabric dresses that floated down the runway.

Trofymenko and Chiuri’s dual vision composed pieces of intricately sewn embroidery in a palette of dreamy neutral colors that incorporated history, romance, and tradition.
