The makeup for the Summer 2023 Dior Men’s Collection by Kim Jones accentuated radiance and simplicity. Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, Peter Philips, designed a natural look
To create an effortless and glowing complexion, Phillips prepped the skin with Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Serum and applied Dior Capture Totale Super Potent Eye Serum around the eyes. To blur the complexion, Phillips used the Dior Backstage Face & Body Primer 001 Universal and continued to even it out with the Dior Backstage Face & Body Foundation, carefully selecting shades to match each model. Finishing touches included the use of the Dior Backstage Face & Body Flash Perfector Concealer, and a gentle dusting of the Dior Backstage Face & Body Powder-No-Powder.
After perfecting the complexion, Peter Phillips structured the eyebrows with the Dior On Set Brow, choosing shades in harmony with the skin tone of each model. The lips of each model were moisturized with Rouge Dior Velvet Balm 000 Dior Natural, allowing for an added luminescence. Lastly, Phillips styled the hair with a slightly punk effect, achieving a “windblown” look that underscored the effortless vibrancy of summer.
