Depop launches Lil Miquela collaboration and Delawess collection

Open up the Depop app looking for the perfect pair of 501 Levi’s. After two hours of aimless scrolling that will feel like mere minutes, close the app having purchased said Levi’s along with your brand new dream closet. Depop, an online shopping platform where users can buy and sell vintage and new pieces alike is changing the world of shopping as we know it. It’s encouraging sustainability while simultaneously giving unknown designers the platform to sell their items without having to open up a retail shop. Delawess and Lil Miquela are just two current examples of the over 13 million using the app to positively impact the fashion world.

Delawess, a 23 year old Minnesota native and New York based cult designer has just dropped his latest collection of 6 pieces on the app. His label Guitar Boy centers in on an experimental design process that results in a mixture of unique and genuine collections. Selling items on Depop for the past 5 years, Delawess shares how the app gives him the leisure and time to focus on the creative aspects of design in a behind-the-scenes video.

Lil Miquela is releasing a Depop exclusive collaboration with her brand Club 404 and LA-based tattoo collective Soto Gang. Lil Miquela is turning Depop into a platform for social change. Through selling unique designer pieces she has been gifted over the years, she is donating all proceeds to RAICES, a non-profit providing free and low cost legal services to underserved immigrant children, families, and refugees in Central and South Texas.
