CIVILIAN NYC | Check In to SIXTY’s Newest Venture
by Madeleine Schulz
SIXTY Collective founder Jason Pomeranc debuts his newest project, CIVILIAN NYC, merging luxury and functionality for a stay which is both convenient and lavish at once. Created with the tech-savvy traveler in mind, guests can self-check in and manage their stay through the hotel app.
Designed by David Rockwell and The Rockwell Group, the hotel sits at the heart of the Theatre District, a classic New York location reflected in the interiors of the building. The rooms are evocative of plush dressing rooms, and the hotel of the theatre itself; heavy curtains drape the lobby, backstage materials decorate the interiors. Further to this, the hotel debuts the Olio Collection, an innovative art collection featuring the works of theatre creatives and Broadway photographers, in homage to the roots of the district.
The hotel also features a restaurant and secret garden (with a pre-fixe theatre menu, of course), a main bar and lounge, a seductively secluded library, and a rooftop bar with views across the cityscape that is coming this summer.
Eager travelers can book a stay now at the CIVILIAN NYC website!
