Bvlgari announces its newest global ambassador. The fashion titan’s list of ambassadors shines with A-List names like Julian Moore, Zendaya, and Rachel Weiz. Their newest addition? None other than unofficial Bollywood and Hollywood royalty, Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

Prior to this, Chopra Jonas was an ambassador for UNICEF GOODWILL. Her social activism earned her the prestigious Danny Kaye Humanitarian Award—a testament to her long withstanding positive contributions to the world. Her work covers a myriad of issues but is often tied back to a strong movement for the rights and lives of young women internationally.

Chopra Jonas has since spent her recent months focusing on her birthplace, South Asia, as it faces the ongoing tragedy of the second wave of COVID-19. Partnering with non-profits to help India. Her fundraiser exceeded a million-dollar goal by tripling it.

Entwined in the nation of India, the Italian brand has since worked with Firmenich, a perfume company, on a flower farming project titled “Flower Gems of India.“ The project is an effort to develop a new model of Jasmine Farming that is sustainable and involves 100 family-owned Farmed in Tamil Nadu. The project provides the chance to not only increase profits of the small businesses but also the quality of the flower in general.

It comes as no surprise that Chopra Jonas is pleased to join the forward-thinking Jewelry staple. “I have always admired and been fascinated by Bvlgari’s magnificent works of art, so many of which celebrate some of the most precious resources of my homeland.
