Bruises | "Sexymental"

French duo, Bruises, released their first-ever music video for their new seductive track, “Sexymental.” 

Compromised of Adah Dylan, an American-Austrian singer and Max Sokolinski, a French multi-instrumentalist and producer, Bruises premiered the second song they every created with “Sexymental.” The term referring to the feeling of intense attraction paired with a loss of rationality. The accompanying video, a supreme red light special creates a dark and moody atmosphere inspired by the 60’s James Bond films’ opening credits and was directed by Australian fashion photographer, Cheyne Tillier-Daly.

The song will be featured on their upcoming EP, also titled “Sexymental” that’s set to be released April 3, 2020. The EP is inspired by an ever-changing world, fusional love, and the observation of a fickle and superficial society. “Sexymental,” the EP creates a world that is upbeat, dreamlike, as Bruises gives a little escape from normative thinking.
