Bottega Veneta / Salon 01 London Film and Books

by Constanza Falco Raez

Today, Bottega Veneta launched its Salon 01 London collection. Made up of three books and a record, Salon 01 gives intimate access to Daniel Lee’s creative process. Book 01 gives a peek into the inspiration behind the collection. Book 02, created by German conceptual artist Rosemarie Trockel, is a combination of collaged photographs and anonymous short stories that explore the creative process and its relationship to clothes.  And Book 03 is a front and backstage look-book captured by photographer Tyrone Lebon. The record is the soundtrack of the Salon 01 event, exclusively made by Neneh Cherry for the event.

Together, they showcase the process of creating a line, and give access to what one would miss at a show—it’s not only the final result but how it got here. The film of the event will be available to watch on BottegaVeneta.com and Bottega Veneta’s Instagram and YouTube channels.
