Art Basel | Inside the Collectors Lounge

The 2021 edition of Art Basel Miami ended with a bang at the Casa Dragones Tasting Room in the Collectors Lounge. The bar, a reimagined version of brands storied San Miguel de Allende Tasting Room was designed by long-time friend and brand collaborator, contemporary Mexican designer Hector Esrawe, the circular bar hosted exhibiting artists as ‘art-tenders’ to present specialty cocktails featuring the ultra premium tequila. Rirkrit Tiravanija, Abraham Cruzvillegas Daniel Knorr, Barbara Sanchez-Kane, and on the last day, Marc Spielger, the Global Director of Art Basel got behind the bar to serve a mix of celebrities, gallerists, collectors and artists.

Enjoy Rirkrit Tiravanija’s fun twist on a Tequila negroni with a silver luster rim so guests automatically get some va-va-voom on their lips with each sip. 

Silver Lips Dragoni

A take on a classic negroni with a silver luster dust rum.

2 oz Casa Dragones Añejo Barrel Blend

1/2 oz Aperol

1/2 oz Vermouth

Orange zest

Finger lime 

Over large cube

Silver luster dust rim

Add ingredients to a mixing glass filled with ice, and stir until well-chilled. Strain into a rocks glass with a large cube. Garnish with silver luster dust rim.
