Arman Naféei | Are We On Air ?

As musical director of the Chateau Marmont, Arman Naféei spent years in conversation with Hollywood’s best and brightest. Naféei, in conjunction with StudioNeu, announced the production of an online radio podcast “Are We On Air ?”, a weekly series chronicling the lives and musical stylings of today’s cultural icons. Each week will consist of a 20-minute conversation between Naféei and an esteemed guest. Though a series of questions, each interviewee is encouraged to tell the tale of their life and career through song choice.

Inaugural guest of “Are We On Air ?” Patti Smith said, “...it’s fun to talk about music, and talking in this little talk I realized the spectrum of music I love...being 73 I have seen really the whole spectrum of Rock’n’Roll in my lifetime...”

Apart from being d’irecteur d’ambiance, Nafée is also a sound designer, consultant, and music curator who has worked with Nile Rodgers, Earth Wind & Fire, Kylie Minogue and Bette Midler, and has helped define the sounds of fashion houses such as Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein and Prada.
