Genny Spring/Summer 2023 | Milan Fashion Week

Los Angeles, the epicenter of energy and creativity heavily influenced Sara Cavazza Facchini, the creative director of Genny. The spring/summer 2023 collection focuses on bright colors–neon yellow, coral, and turquoise–to lighter colors like lime and lilac. Black and white remain staples throughout the collection.

The corset is a key player in this collection highlighting the feminine shape and perfectly flowing into the bottom half of the look. Many looks present an easygoing vibe with unstructured patterns that align with the laid-back Los Angeles theme.

Suits, long dresses, and matching sets graced the runway of Milan Fashion Week with subtle touches of the famous ’70s bell bottoms. Chromatic and glitter are brought to life through these feminine designs. The presence of old Hollywood shines through long silk dresses–very Marilyn Monroe.

With a long hiatus from colorful fashion, the Genny spring/summer collection brings back the long-lost love for color. Proving that color and style still go hand and hand.
