United Nude Augmented Reality Pop Up

by Paulette Ely

As if the aces of architectural footwear, United Nude, isn't revolutionary enough, their new Augmented Reality pop-up shop will give shoe lovers and coders alike a look into the future of shopping. Thanks to VR virtuosos Float Land and AR platform Magic Leap, this fashion-forward futuristic fantasy becomes reality at the Westfield Century City Mall in LA.

With shoes from the unbelievable United Nude SS19 collection up for grabs, as well as an exhibition of new designs from killer collaborators such as Iris Van Herpen and Lady Gaga, this pop up is not something you can miss. That’s not to mention the literal Lo Res full scale car casually on display after its cameo in Rich The Kid’s “New Freezer” video and after winning a Wallpaper Design Award. Yeah, no big deal. Creative Director/Founder of United Nude, Rem D. Koolhaas, explained the vision for customer experience in stating, “For eight weeks we hope you come join us in the trial and error of exploring the potential and pushing the boundaries in new ways to connect, share and learn how to bridge the real and the digital”. Whether your soul is in soles or your heart is in HD technology, United Nude has created an experimental empyrean for everyone.

Take a look here at just a few of the shoes on display:
