Before Netflix stand-up specials, there were HBO's Def Comedy Jams produced by Russell Simmons. Netflix pays respect and brings us Def Comedy Jam's 25th Anniversary Special, celebrating and honoring the platform that gave some of our favorite comedians a jump-start in their career.
The trailer shows appearances from Dave Chappelle, Martin Lawrence, Cedric The Entertainer, Katt Williams, Bill Bellamy, Kevin Hart, Adele Givens, Craig Robinson, Tracy Morgan--all Black comedians whom found refuge at Def Comedy Jam.
