Radiohead Comes Full Circle with BBC's 'Blue Planet'

by Flaunt Intern

Radiohead recently tweeted out that they have collaborated with Hans Zimmer to recreate "Bloom," a track off of their 2011 album, The King of Limbs.

For Zimmer, this project will join the long list of collaborations he has done throughout his career. As for Radiohead, lead singer Thomas Yorke, has said in a press release that "Bloom" was inspired by the original Blue Planet to begin with; "So it's great to be able to come full circle with the song and reimagine it for this incredible landmark's sequel."

The recreation has been dubbed, "ocean (Bloom)" and will be featured on BBC's documentary Blue Planet II, which will be released later this year.

This track can be heard above in the trailer that BBC released September 27.
