Guy Gerber's Rumors in partnership with Framework descended on a $60 million private estate to close the Sunday of Coachella's first weekend on April 15. It was on a private beach backing onto a private lake, held infinity pools and minimalist villas--not to mention a private golf course, and a helicopter pad.
Hopefully, a new Sunday closing tradition was born. It certainly was one for the ages. The open bar certainly helped as Gerber threw down until the wee hours for several thousand groovers. Open-air dancing, which Rumors demands, in the warm desert air, played its part as well. It was the perfect pre-game to the sure to be sold-out LA event May 5.
