FLAUNT RECAP | RED BULL'S SWETBOXX

by Kyle Huewe

Swetboxx is a first-of-its kind event to hit Miami, and it centralizes around themes of inclusion, individuality, and, of course, sweat. Presented by Red Bull Music and hosted by an exciting array of queer collectives, the event took place on October 5th and showcased a future of queer partying that will hopefully remain fruitful for years to come, headlined by none other than the illustrious Mykki Blanco.

Miami, a city not overtly known for its queer culture, brought in a range of queer collectives from around the U.S. and Mexico to show the locals how its done, while also collaborating to shed light on the themes of the event.

The event also included various musical guests besides Blanco, including: Quay Dash, DJ Haram, Ariel Zetina, Adam R, Oscar Nñ, Bronze Goddess, Lao, Debit, and many others.
