NBA Star-Turned-Designer Russell Westbrook Launches Honor the Gift Line

‘Tis been the season for the integration of '90's flavor in many designers’ spring '18 and fall '17 lines, but pro baller Russell Westbrook is putting a dangerous spin on the status quo with the first run of his Honor The Giftfashion collection, which debuted globally this week.
The Oklahoma City Thunder point guard’s line, fittingly named Collection 001, features unique pieces with electrical elements and a highlighter aesthetic that were captured in a lookbook by photographer Kenneth Cappello.
The brand’s message of self trust and unstoppable ambition is promoted by a star-studded array of models Johnny Reed, Indyamarie, Anna Maria Olbrycht, AJ, Ben Earl, and Russell himself. The collection’s apparel, “influenced by 1990's youth with a presence of danger,” includes graphic tees, pullover fleece sweaters, lids, socks (a perfectly neutral stocking stuffer), and more.
