BANKS takes us through a collection of her drawings and paintings - on display now - with an exclusive visual diary

by Rhiyen Sharp

BANKS is a lot of things, but a ‘true artist’, and one of many mediums, is a pretty good summary.

Most of us found our introductory point to BANKS though her music. With a fanbase that is as exceptionally diverse as it is loyal, many of us use her albums to summarize relationships, years or even whole periods of our lives.

Her 4th Album Serpentina was just released and she has started a live tour to support it (My interview with Banks, about the tour and album process will be published shortly , but with the limited time for fans to see her work at UTA Artist Space I wanted to publish these photos which Banks has provided to Flaunt, to encoruage fans to see this show which is currently on display (last two days - so get in quickly) BANKS Generations of Women from the Moon before the exhibition closes on Friday at UTA Artists Space.

The collection of work is beautiful, surrealistic, pensive and passionate, it adds another layer to BANKS, and we are excited to see more in the future!
