The song’s commentary is on the materialistic world, Balt says “‘Retail Therapy’ is about recognizing a culture where buying and shopping are ways to fill a void. The song and video are a reflection of society’s obsession with the need to spend money to make themselves feel better. Just a catchy fun ass song.” The music video directed by Rough Sketchz, animates Balt and Devante into a consumerist world of lean and Supreme.
