Virgin Soil, a Twin Peaks-Inspired Multimedia Project, is Eerie Art: Watch It Here

Although I never saw the original Twin Peaks series, which aired in the '90s, I hear it was just as eerie, dream-like, and twisted as the current Showtime sequel.
As season three came to a wrap last September, Xiu Xiu, an American experimental band, played the Twin Peaks music, original score by Angelo Badalamenti, in a coast-side military Chapel.

Filmmaker John Clayton Lee and photographer Ekaterina Ozhiganova teamed up to create a short film and photo essay, titled Virgin Soil, with the help and inspiration from Xiu Xiu's Twin Peaks interpretation.
The theme for Virgin Soil is simulacrum, which they define as "an image formed in the likeness of a thing," or "of images - formed by art, reflected in a mirror, or seen in a dream; of apparitions, visions, etc."
